Common Secondary Conditions

Secondary conditions are the things we notice as our body breaks down or deviates away from normal. When it comes to health, there are many normal values; blood pressure, body temperature, eye sight. The same is true of the spine. As it shifts beyond what is considered normal, your body’s most important system, the nervous system, may be obstructed. This can be the underlying cause of a variety of conditions, or symptoms.

At Keystone Chiropractic, we refer to these symptoms as secondary conditions. They are the result of a primary issue, a Structural Shift, within the spine. The location and severity of a structural shift will give us key information about your problem.
